Platform-only work stays in the changelog and is not listed here. Mike approves an item, then it moves to the public IndieMade Feature Index.

v9.629 (Oct 9): Support tickets from your AI assistant. When an assistant is stuck, it offers to open a support ticket, shows you the text, and files it after you say yes. It can also read the replies. Docs Moved Oct 10 to the Feature Index.
v9.628 (Oct 9): Google Analytics and Add to Head snippets load once, not twice. Vertical product thumbnails have up and down controls and work with the keyboard, so long photo lists are reachable.
v9.627 (Oct 9): Google setup in Settings. Google Analytics sits directly below SEO Settings, with links between the two. SEO Settings has a Google verification code box for Google Search Console. Docs Moved Oct 10 to the Feature Index.
v9.626 (Oct 8): The "Oops! Something went wrong" page shows the shop's own address, hides the technical dump, and pages support within ten minutes.
v9.625 (Oct 8): Editing a section's "Show on page(s)" works again on shops where the Sold page or another built-in page is switched off.
v9.623 (Oct 8): Headline & Feature Columns cards have wider text on phones.
v9.622 (Oct 8): Made to Order line in your own words. A What shoppers see box on the product form, and the same choice in the bulk action. Put @date where the date goes. Docs Moved Oct 10 to the Feature Index.
v9.621 (Oct 8): The Made to Order line says "Shipping begins" with the date. "Ships by" promised a delivery date the maker does not control.
v9.618 (Oct 8): The Made to Order line spells out the month and has a gap below it. The order confirmation and receipt match.
v9.616 (Oct 8): A paid order stays paid. A slow cart change can no longer turn a paid order back into an empty cart. Shoppers no longer get a saved-cart reminder for an order they paid for.
v9.615 (Oct 8): Select all products on the Products screen now carries every matching product into bulk actions, not only the first 250. It follows the search and filters on screen.
v9.614 (Oct 7): Payment received dates. Add Payment has a Payment received date, so a check is dated the day it arrived. Docs Moved Oct 10 to the Feature Index.
v9.613 (Oct 7): Etsy review page: the Stock column shows real stock, the compare window shows the product as it is now, and descriptions reach Etsy with spacing and symbols intact. Docs
v9.612 (Oct 7): Etsy review page: descriptions with quotes or ampersands no longer show as different, and the nightly check clears "Edited here" on saves that changed nothing.
v9.611 (Oct 7): An AI assistant in Claude Code can upload a product video from a file on your computer. Docs Moved Oct 10 to the Feature Index.
v9.610 (Oct 7): Etsy Advanced "Check now" finishes on shops that have products with thousands of option combinations.
v9.609 (Oct 7): Record cash, checks and custom payments. Add Payment on an order records a payment you already received, with your own description. It never charges the customer and cannot exceed the unpaid balance. Docs Moved Oct 10 to the Feature Index.
v9.606 (Oct 7): Storefront search pages. Search results show fifty per page with numbered pages and Previous and Next. Docs Moved Oct 10 to the Feature Index.
v9.605 (Oct 7): Every add-on card has a Help guide link to its help page.
v9.604 (Oct 7): Bulk Set Made to Order. Select products and give them all the same lead time, or mark them ready to ship. Docs Moved Oct 10 to the Feature Index.

Sweep: October 6 and 7, 2026 (v9.559 to v9.602)

v9.602 (Oct 7) — Shops that had product videos before the add-on card existed get their Videos box and gallery back without pressing Install. Nothing was deleted.
v9.601 (Oct 7) — Cookie Consent Banner add-on. Included with every plan. Settings → IndieMade Add-ons → Cookie Consent Banner → Install, then switch it on and write the text in Store Settings. Tracking stays silent until a shopper accepts. Remove hides it without deleting the message. Before this, 3 of 527 shops had it. Moved Oct 7 to the Feature Index.
v9.595 (Oct 6) — Product Videos add-on. Settings → IndieMade Add-ons → Product Videos → Install. Upload up to two videos per product; they play in the product gallery. IndieMade hosts them. Part of Plus, free for every plan for a limited time. Remove hides without deleting. Moved Oct 6 to the Feature Index.
v9.592 (Oct 6) — The maintenance notice no longer prints on order receipts and packing slips.
v9.589 (Oct 6) — An AI assistant renaming a category now follows the SEO Settings switch like the dashboard does: switch off, the address stays. Assistants can read and set that switch and read the sitemap address, and are no longer told that a rename changes an address.
v9.588 (Oct 6) — SEO Settings page, and web addresses stay put. Settings → SEO Settings gathers web addresses, page titles, homepage title and description with a live Google preview, and the sitemap address. Changing a title no longer changes an item’s address; a switch turns the old behaviour back on. Homepage title and description moved here from Basic Site Info. The header gear is now a labelled IndieMade Settings button and View Site is now See my shop. Moved Oct 6 to the Feature Index.
v9.587 (Oct 6) — Google Shopping and Pinterest product feeds keep working after the redirect from your IndieMade address to your custom domain is turned on. Nothing to do.
v9.583 (Oct 5) — AI assistants: the safety nets are spelled out. The AI Agents page in the dashboard now says plainly that an assistant can take a backup first, that every change it makes can be undone for 30 days, and that IndieMade keeps a daily backup of the shop for 7 days behind both. An assistant can keep its backup on the shop for 7 days and put it back by id, and can no longer give a product or page an address the shop cannot serve. Promote, together with v9.580.
v9.580 (Oct 5) — AI assistants: backup and undo. An assistant connected to a shop can save a full copy of what it is about to change and put it back. The shop keeps a 30-day record of every assistant change with the old values, so a merchant can say “undo what you changed since 9 this morning”. An assistant can no longer rename a published product by accident, and gets an error instead of a silent “success” when it uses a wrong setting name. (Zendesk 34162) Promote.
v9.579 (Oct 5) — Mailchimp: products go when you say so. Saving a product no longer sends it to Mailchimp while you wait, so products with thousands of variation rows save normally. Products go to Mailchimp when you press the send button on Settings → Integrations → Mailchimp. Connecting finishes itself when the account has one audience; with several, you must pick one before anything is sent.
v9.578 (Oct 5) — A variation list on a product page shows a price beside each option only when that option changes the price. No more “$5.00” beside every color of a $17 item.
v9.577 (Oct 5) — Update Products on a Variation no longer switches back on the combination rows you switched off. Rows that were off only because an option was hidden still return when you show the option again.
v9.576 (Oct 5) — Etsy photos: no more 20-photo cap, and option photos land on the right option. Update Etsy Listing sends every product photo; Update from Etsy links option photos past the twentieth. Etsy decides the limit. Each variation option now gets the photo Etsy shows for it, whatever order the photos are in. Promote.
v9.573 (Oct 3) — The Sold page never shows Add to Cart or Choose Options, even when purchase buttons are on for store results. Quick-add refuses variations with no stock when the product tracks inventory. (Zendesk 34160)
v9.564 (Sep 30) — Store owners with a custom domain get their edit toolbar back. A logged-in owner now stays on the address they logged in on when they click View Site. Shoppers still go to the custom domain.
v9.563 (Sep 30) — Refund an online payment from the order. Full, partial or the exact remaining balance, with an amount-first review screen and a confirmation. Square joins Stripe and PayPal. Each attempt is recorded in the order’s Refund history. A completed full refund can optionally cancel the order. Promote.
v9.562 (Sep 30) — The Log in link on www.indiemade.com goes to account.indiemade.com, which opens with “Email me my site links”: type the email you signed up with and get the links to your stores.
v9.561 (Sep 30) — The shared spam protection on contact, registration, login, password-reset and comment forms moved to a new key after the old one hit its monthly quota. Protected forms keep working on IndieMade addresses and custom domains.

Sweep: September 30, 2026 (v9.549 to v9.558)

v9.555 (Sep 30) — Product tags. Tag products by who it is for, the occasion, a theme or a color. A Tags box sits below Categories in the product editor; search for a tag or type a new one. Bulk edit adds or removes a tag on many products at once, and dashboard product search finds products by tag. Shoppers never see tags, and tags do not go to Etsy.
v9.554 (Sep 30) — Bulk reorder moves products as one block. Select products, pick a position, and the first one lands there with the rest right behind it, in order. (Zendesk 34099) Promote. Moved Sep 30 to the Feature Index, as “Reorder many products at once”.
v9.553 (Sep 30) — Unpublished products show “page not found”. Shoppers and Google now see the product is gone, not “access denied”. Publish it again and the page comes back. (Zendesk 34142) Moved Sep 30 to the Feature Index.
v9.552 (Sep 30) — Add Page works again for stores on their own domain. It showed “access denied” before. (Zendesk 34128)
v9.551 (Sep 30) — Mailchimp sync is more reliable. A slow connection no longer leaves duplicate or stuck products in Mailchimp. Turning the Mailchimp add-on on or off now shows on your pages right away.
v9.550 (Sep 30) — Bulk edit handles large product selections without stopping partway.
v9.549 (Sep 29) — “Add from template” in the product editor no longer errors when every template is already on the product.
