A category landing page or simply a category page displays your categories so customers can browse your categories and display products within that category. This page is automatically available on your IndieMade site whether or not you have entered categories.
Finding Your Category Page.
The category page is found on the path '/categories', so to manually locate your page simply add this path to your IndieMade URL or custom domain. Here is an example of the path on one of our themes pages. It is the same path on your site: https://crystalline.indiemade.com/categories
The category page is often automatically added to your main menu but it could also be disabled. To enable the category menu got to Menus > Main Menu and click on the publish icon.
The categories menu is always available on the main menu but it might be disabled. Click on the 'x' to enable this and it will show on your main menu.
How to make the Category Page your Homepage.
You can choose to show your product categories as the main content on your homepage by going to Settings > Basic Site Info and choosing 'Categories' on the Homepage select list. You can also choose to add additional sections above and below your category display. As a matter of fact any sections you added to your homepage will still show when you change your default homepage under Basic Site Settings.
