IndieMade is well known for having the best Etsy listing integration on the market. It is a common misconception that IndieMade is an alternative or replacement to Etsy. We are not. IndieMade is your own independent website and commerce platform.
You choose if and how your products are connected to Etsy. Connecting your Etsy shop with IndieMade is easy but before you get started please take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the IndieMade Dashboard and be sure that your IndieMade store is set up properly.
Connecting Your IndieMade Store to Etsy
- On the Dashboard go to Settings > Etsy Connect
- On the Etsy Connect page click the "Connect to Etsy" button.
- Follow the prompts from Etsy to allow permission to access your shop.
That's it. If successful you should now see several settings that we will discuss further. You can disconnect from your Etsy shop at any time by clicking the DISCONNECT button in the top right corner of the Etsy Connect page.

More about the Etsy Connect Setting Page

Automatically update products on Etsy: If checked, when you edit a product in your IndieMade store the corresponding listing will be updated in your Etsy store.
Etsy Listings: Sync Quantity: If checked we will sync your IndieMade quanties with your Etsy quantities. It is also important to note that due to the complexities and policies of Etsy variations if you have 'quantities vary' by variations prices will also be synced on both sites. Currently you cannot have seperate listing prices when syncing quantities on variations.
Important! Please read this very important article on quanties syncing.
Do not import Etsy categories: If unchecked we automatically import all categories associated with your listings, check this option if you would like to categorize your IndieMade listings differently than Etsy own categories.
Product Defaults: If you do not specify these Etsy listings details when creating products these are the defaults we will use when sending IndieMade products to Etsy. Without these settings here or on the product itself your listings will fail when sending to Etsy. These Etsy specific settings include: Etsy Category, Esty Shipping Profile, Who made it, What it is and When it was made.
How to Import Etsy Reviews to IndieMade
Want to bring your Etsy reviews into IndieMade? You've got options! Here's a simple guide to help you:
First: Enable Product Reviews on IndieMade: On the Dashboard, look near the bottom of the Menu and click on Settings. This will take you to the main settings page. Click on Manage Reviews, where you can enable Reviews. You'll also find the option to 'Display reviews on products.'
Associate Reviews with Products: You can link Etsy reviews to specific products on IndieMade. Just a heads-up: some Etsy reviews might not transfer if the product isn't active on IndieMade. On the Etsy Connect page, click 'Import Etsy Reviews to Products.' This action will transfer all your Etsy reviews and associate them with each product as an IndieMade review. If you've enabled Reviews, you'll see them listed under the Reviews link in the left-hand menu of the Dashboard.
Use a Placeholder Page: To make sure you capture all your reviews, you can import them into a placeholder page. This method gathers all your reviews onto one page, even if the associated products aren't active on IndieMade. First, under the Pages menu, create a placeholder page that all your reviews will be imported into. This will transfer your reviews' text to your own page, where you can easily edit them. On the Etsy Connect page, under the Etsy Reviews section, select your placeholder page and click 'Import Etsy Reviews into Selected Page.'
