Finding your MailChimp API key

You probably don't need this. The easiest way to connect your shop is to click Connect to Mailchimp under Settings > Integrations > Mailchimp and sign in at Mailchimp — there's no key to find and nothing to paste. See Connecting your Mailchimp Account.

If you'd rather connect with an API key, here's where to find one.

1. Click on your account icon on the bottom right of the Mailchimp Dashboard.
2. Select Account from the drop-down menu.
3. Click on the Extras menu.
4. Choose API keys from the drop-down menu.
5. If you don't have any API keys click 'Create a Key'.

Mailchimp API keys are found under your Account > Extras > API Keys. The key is a long code ending in something like -us14.

Once you have the key, open Use an API key instead on the Mailchimp settings page and paste it there.
